Business flourishes
BLESS Photo/Video Imaging, is one of the most sought after wedding photography and cinematography business in the Nadi area.
The blooming business is run by Nitesh Nalin Singh, a seasoned photographer, renowned for capturing beautiful moments for the “big day”.
Mr Singh said his team was made up of versatile professionals who knew how to capture moments that clients would treasure forever.
“I developed my interest in taking pictures way back when I was schooling and had dreamt of capturing precious moments plus exploring new places.
“Before I started my own business, I used to work for Kris Photo Studios in Nadi.”
He acknowledged Kris Photo Studio director Prem Naidu for grooming him.
“Later on, I attended summer classes and workshops on photography in order to have a formal qualification and to understand the craft in all aspects.
“It is learning about capturing the love, romance and emotions on the faces of your friends and family.”
Mr Singh said he started his business in 2017 and used the word “Bless” as he believed it would be a blessing from God.
“I am extremely grateful that I have managed to propel my business in a short period of time, however, it was not a overnight success, it took me a lot of hard work, dedication and investment in my camera equipment.”
According to Mr Singh, he also attended professional photography and master class training under Munn Powell (Director it Cinematography) of Los Angeles and Cristy Powell (Director of Photography) of Los Angeles as well.
“Some of the challenges that I have faced throughout my photography journey is dealing with different types of customers.
“I am grateful to have discovered about the different cultures and values.
“You feel part of the process. It excites me and makes me happy seeing the smiles and joy when people celebrate important days of their lives.
“We want the memories of those special moments to linger on.”
He said some of the best shots comes out from unexpected moments.
“I ventured into the photography
field because I am much more
into socialising with new people and taking pictures was one of my favorite hobbies.”
He says, not only is photography a profitable business, it has evolved over the years.
“Now, it is not only about taking pictures and making videos on the ‘big day’ but the moments leading up to it are also highly in demand.
“There are now pre-wedding shoot, pregnancy announcement shoot, child gender revelation shoots, baby shower shoots and other precious moments as well.
“Although, I get more clients for wedding, we do photography for all types of events.”
Mr Singh’s daughter, Natasha, 18, was also learning the ropes of the business as she was now assisting his dad in the full-time business venture. Mr Singh resides in Korovuto, Nadi.
