Family’s fight for the truth
THE Turagabaleti family’s fight for what is true and just has finally paid off.
After a long two-and-ahalf-year battle to be reinstated by their former employers, Fiji Airways and Air Terminal Services, Vilimaina Radrodro and Semisi Turagabaleti will now finally celebrate.
At their home in Lautoka yesterday, Mrs Turagabaleti, a former Fiji Airways purser and line trainer, recalled the challenges they faced as a family after losing her job in May, 2020.
“Like my husband, standing for what is right, true and just has been a natural thing for us,” said Mrs Turagabaleti.
“And it’s something that we have instilled with our children. To stand up for what is right and to be a voice.
“But it has not been easy. “Standing up for what is right comes with a price, but looking back now with the process and everything that we went through as a family, you can’t put a price or a value to it.
“We’ve gained and achieved a lot together as a family especially with our spiritual walk with God and instilling that in our children;” Mrs Turagabaleti said.
“They see us choose to be victorious every single day since we got terminated because we believe in a faithful God.”
She said while the journey had been difficult, they were looking forward to the rewards that were up ahead.
“In these three years, we found
