Douglas Pharmaceuticals Fiji Limited
is a wholly owned subsidiary of New Zealand’s largest privately-owned pharmaceutical company, with a modern pharmaceutical manufacturing and research facility in Nadi, Fiji. We are seeking to recruit the following position to provide support to our Engineering team.

Highly specialized role who is responsible for Site engineering team, projects, maintenance, and technical training.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team. Site and equipment maintenance of the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
Manage and train employees to maintain all equipment inclusive of essential services facilitating 18 to 24hour operation.
Provide support and assistance to the Operations teams in technical matters.
In conjunction with the Operations Manager, evaluate and recommend innovative technologies to increase and enhance global competition within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry Participate and coordinate industry related projects, as required Identify preferred suppliers for services and request Responsible for Asset management, monitoring and control to include but not limited to quarterly review of asset register, verification of receipt and appropriate labelling of new assets. Responsible for engineering budget management and Capex.
Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering.
Minimum of 6-7 years’ experience in a similar role
Proven experience in FMCG
Areas of expertise should Include electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC installations, commissioning, and maintenance procedures.
