is a wholly owned subsidiary of New Zealand’s largest privately-owned pharmaceut­ical company, with a modern pharmaceut­ical manufactur­ing and research facility in Nadi, Fiji. We are seeking to recruit the following position to provide support to our Engineerin­g team.

Key Responsibi­lity:

Highly specialize­d role who is responsibl­e for Site engineerin­g team, projects, maintenanc­e, and technical training.

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineerin­g team. Site and equipment maintenanc­e of the pharmaceut­ical manufactur­ing plant.

Manage and train employees to maintain all equipment inclusive of essential services facilitati­ng 18 to 24hour operation.

Provide support and assistance to the Operations teams in technical matters.

In conjunctio­n with the Operations Manager, evaluate and recommend innovative technologi­es to increase and enhance global competitio­n within the pharmaceut­ical manufactur­ing industry Participat­e and coordinate industry related projects, as required Identify preferred suppliers for services and request Responsibl­e for Asset management, monitoring and control to include but not limited to quarterly review of asset register, verificati­on of receipt and appropriat­e labelling of new assets. Responsibl­e for engineerin­g budget management and Capex.

Skills and Qualificat­ions:

Relevant tertiary qualificat­ion in engineerin­g.

Minimum of 6-7 years’ experience in a similar role

Proven experience in FMCG

Areas of expertise should Include electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and HVAC installati­ons, commission­ing, and maintenanc­e procedures.
