Netball Fiji launches website

- By MELI LADDPETER

“THROUGH this new partnership, we will be able to reach our fans, players and stakeholders all over the world.”

Netball Fiji chief executive officer Vivian Koster made the statement during the launch of their official website after signing a three-year partnership with Elevation Technologies at the Harvest Plaza in Kinoya, Suva.

Their partnership is deemed to be the beginning of many more partnerships between the two organisations in the future.

Koster said Fiji Netball was excited to become partners with Elevation Technologies and thanked them for developing their website.

“I just want to thank the team from Elevation Technology for creating the website and we cannot wait for more events as such in the future,” she said.

This now means that Netball Fiji will be able to reach interested players, fans and stakeholders on a wider scale through their website.

“In the past, everything Netball Fiji did or achieved was usually covered by World Netball but now we will be able to take up that initiative.”

She said having a website as such was a necessary tool that Netball Fiji needed in getting their stories out into the region, and around the world.

“Especially in this era where almost everything is available on the internet. We can use that to our advantage and keep in contact with our fans and supporters.”

With the new website in place, Netball Fiji will be able to direct access to overseas players who wish to join the Pearls.

A fellow member of the Elevation Technologies, Abinesh Chand, said they were honoured to have formed a partnership with Netball Fiji and thanked them for the opportunity.

“We are very grateful for this huge opportunity to be partners with Netball Fiji,” he said.
