The island and the surrounding area are steeped in historical significance, with ancient pottery dating back 3,500 years found nearby. Likuri Island's mainland jetty is located close to Natadola beach on the Coral Coast, and it takes 45 minutes to get to the jetty from Nadi.
It is a 30-minute boat ride down the Tuva River to get to Likuri Island Resort.
There are regular scheduled transfers to the island everyday and off-schedule private transfers can be arranged at any time of the day or night.
The Resort is offering 40 percent discount to locals this Valentine's Day with breakfast included. And they also offer buffet style for lunch and dinner as part of the meal plan.
Couples can expect a bottle of bubbles when they say the word 'cupid' at the time of their booking.
