Cybersecurity training for professionals
OUTSOURCE Fiji has concluded a comprehensive cybersecurity training program for 30 professionals, arming them with skills necessary to ensure utmost security of client data.
Outsource Fiji’s executive director Sagufta Janif said this was part of the organisation’s commitment to investing in Fiji’s outsourcing industry.
“The outsourcing industry, integral to the global digital economy, handles vast amounts of sensitive information on behalf of clients.
“In this context, cybersecurity plays a pivotal role in maintaining the trust and confidence of clients.
“The successful completion of the cybersecurity training program by these 30 professionals signifies a collective dedication to elevating industry standards and ensuring a secure outsourcing environment.”
Outsource Fiji’s workforce development aligns to its upcoming Exploring Outsourcing in Fiji (EXO Fiji), an international event expected to bring together senior business executives from Australia, New Zealand, and potentially the US, showcasing Fiji’s outsourcing industry, the diverse range of services offered here and its highly skilled workforce.
“At EXO Fiji, we aim to highlight the capabilities of the Fijian outsourcing industry,” Ms Janif said.
“Our investment in cybersecurity education is a testament to our dedication to maintaining international standards, and we believe that our skilled workforce will be a key attraction for businesses seeking reliable outsourcing partners.”
The cybersecurity training was funded by Outsource Fiji and conducted by The Knowledge Academy, one of the world’s largest providers of classroom and online training courses, accredited by renowned exam institutions such as Axelos, BCS, Microsoft, The Open Group, and APMG.
