Naming rights sponsor for summit
FMF Foods Ltd this week signed a major sponsorship agreement with Partners of the Pacific Legacy Leadership Symposium that will take place at Sofitel Denarau in Nadi next month.
FMF Foods Group marketing manager Maria Kumar said the initiative aligns with FMF’s values in equipping leaders and building legacies.
“FMF, A promise of quality is not only about products brands or service we provide but also about building quality leadership,” Ms Kumar said.
In acknowledging the significant support, Pacific Legacy Leadership leading partner Salt Inc PTE Ltd founder and principal consultant Ana Laqeretabua said the partnership is more than just financial.
“It’s really representative of who we are as Pacific islanders who are seeking to really influence the leadership landscape of the region and to encourage leaders to be more intentional with the legacies that they’re building.
“The theme of the event is navigating leadership in the shifting sands of time and what we’re seeking to do is to equip seasoned and emerging leaders to be able to navigate themselves and their people better in this season of constant change.”
Ms Laqeretabua said in the face of rapid changes, leaders need to be equipped to be able to stay ahead of the game and to take people forward.
“Our vision is really to start to influence the leadership landscape of the region and to promote a more people-centered values leadership culture, where leaders are paying more attention to the people that they’re leading and not necessarily just focusing on the position that they’re in and the power that position gives them.”
Other members of Partners of the Pacific include Tapuaki Mei Langi Consultancy in Tonga and Fiji-based Nayacalevu Vision Consultancy.
The FMF Legacy Leadership Symposium will be held at the Sofitel Resort on March 13 to the 15.
