Fijian hospitality for world-class surfing
THE Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay has been chosen as one of the official accommodation partners for the highly anticipated World Surfing League (WSL) 2024 Corona Fiji Pro scheduled for August 20 to 29.
“Our resort is nestled in one of the most breathtaking locations in Fiji, and we are excited to welcome the world’s top surfers and enthusiasts to experience the beauty and warmth of Momi Bay for the opening and closing functions for the event,” Silvano Dressino, general manager of Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay said.
“We are honoured to be chosen by WSL as an official accommodation partner for the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro.”
The collaboration promises an unparalleled experience for surfers, spectators, media and surf enthusiasts alike.
Returning to Fiji for the first time since 2017, the final event of the regular nine destinations surf season will witness the world’s best surfers converging on the iconic Cloudbreak, off Tavarua Islands, where they’ll vie for a coveted spot in the WSL Final 5.
With its close proximity of a 20-minute boat ride to Cloudbreak, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay is ideally located for the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro world-class surfing action.
“WSL is excited to partner with Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay for the upcoming 2024 Corona Fiji Pro,” said WSL APAC president Andrew Stark.
“It is an incredible resort with stunning surroundings and is located only a stone’s throw from Cloudbreak, where the event will take place.
“All of this, combined with the resort’s commitment to excellence, will make for an unforgettable experience at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay during the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro.”
