FIJI Development Bank’s relationships sales officer Kustino Ratumainaceva recently had the opportunity to trade his office sandals for tactical boots in Seaqaqa.

Mr Ratumainaceva, who is also a Territorial Force (TF) officer with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), presented FDB’s products and services to about 100 RFMF officers during their annual camp for the 7th Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment training, at the invitation of the RFMF Battalion leadership.

“FDB supports the Fiji armed forces by providing financial services to enhance the economic wellbeing and stability of military personnel and their families,” FDB said in a statement.

“The bank’s promotion of financial literacy among military personnel equips them with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively.

FDB chief executive officer Saud Minam acknowledged Mr Ratumainaceva for his work with both the bank and the RFMF.

“I am incredibly proud of our staff members who serve not only within the walls of FDB but also in the honourable capacity of the RFMF,” Mr Minam said.

“Mr Ratumainaceva’s commitment to both his civilian and military responsibilities exemplify the values of service, integrity, and resilience that define our institution.

“His unique perspective enriches our organisation, and we’re privileged to have such remarkable individuals like him among us while driving us forward with dedication and passion.”
