Ajesh close to fulfilling dream

AJESH Chand’s dream as young boy to represent Suva will become a reality this Sunday during the Digicel Fiji Premier League round one competitio­n.

The 24-year-old right-back has made the move from Navua FC after six years of dedicated service to the club.

While it was difficult to leave his teammates in Navua, Chand is excited to fulfil his dream of representi­ng Suva.

“It was hard leaving my teammates back in Navua but it was the choice I was willing to make,” said Chand.

“Getting a chance to play in a top four team in the country is something big, and I’m willing to give it all my best.”

Joining the Flick Suva FC team is a significan­t opportunit­y for Chand, as the club has consistent­ly performed well over the years and boasts an experience­d side.

He is looking forward to learning and growing with his new teammates and is confident that they will achieve success together.

Chand is focused on making a positive impact in his debut game and is determined to secure a win against Ba FC.

He believes that a strong start will boost the team’s confidence and set the tone for the rest of the season.

Representi­ng Suva for the first time is a source of great pride for Chand, and he is eager to make the most of this opportunit­y.

Chand expresses his gratitude to his family and sponsors, Flick Hygiene, for their unwavering support.

The Digicel Fiji Premier League 2024 round one competitio­n against Flick Suva FC and Ba FC will be at Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Ba at 3pm.

Other matches: 3pm Rewa-Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park; 11am NasinuLaut­oka, 3pm Navua-Nadroga at Uprising Sports Centre.
