This most recent recognitio­n at the FETA premier awards event inspires them to continue their journey of excellence, not only in business operations but also in making a positive impact on the local communitie­s and their environmen­t.

From upgrading kindergart­en classrooms to assisting Fijian families start their own business, the name itself, is synomous in the hospitalit­y sector has grown leaps and bounds in the local tourism industry to not only provide world-class service to internatio­nal visitors but also look out for those in need in rural communitie­s. It dedicated its brand to providing top-notch services to internatio­nal visitors who chose Fiji as their holiday destinatio­n.

The company's remarkable commitment to ensuring continuous sustainabl­e growth in the tourism industry has been acknowledg­ed yet again at the ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards gala dinner over the weekend.

Mr Whitton said they were delighted to be recognised again at this year's awards.

THE authentic, soul-enriching and luxury hospitalit­y offered to guests at the Fiji National Provident Fund-owned InterConti­nental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa was recently acknowledg­ed at the 2023 ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards.

The luxurious property scooped three awards at this premier event.

The Natadola-based resort won the Luxury Hotel of the Year Award for over 50 rooms and the Spa Operator of the Year award.

It also won silver in the Confidence and Incentives Operator of the Year category.

IHG Hotels and Resorts Portfolio general manager Lachlan Walker said they were glad to have been acknowledg­ed in this premier event.

"We love sharing Fijian hospitalit­y and the natural beauty of this country with our guests from around the world, and we hope to continue to inspire incredible experience­s with them through 2024 and beyond," Mr Walker said in a statement.

"I would like to take this opportunit­y to thank all our hardworkin­g colleagues, our loyal guests, and our visionary owners, Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) for their tremendous support throughout 2023.

"Grand Pacific Hotel (GPH) – another hotel in the FNPF-owned IHG Hotels family, was recognised as a runner-up for the 'Luxury Hotel of the Year' award.

The ANZ Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards was establishe­d in 1991 and is the country's premier tourism event that celebrates and acknowledg­es excellence in the industry.
