- By RODNEY DUTHIE

ALL 40 men’s teams participating in the 2024 Rexona Bula Business House Futsal Cup have now played a game each following the successful completion of round one at the FMF Gymnasium in Laucala Bay, Suva last week.

Teams battled for early domination, effectively paving way for a great sports and business networking platform in the Capital City.

While the first round of games saw some upsets and new teams emerging as early dominators, the second round will also have its share of fun and excitement.

“We can clearly see from the results of the first and second rounds that newer teams are emerging as stronger opponents,” games co-ordinator Adi Areta of Bula Events Group said.

“It is really encouraging to see new teams in the likes of DHL, Tebara Group and Motibhai Group winning their first respective pool games.

“However, these are the early days and we have four more rounds to go so anything can happen as we progress further.

“Moving into the coming weeks, we expect the competition to intensify and our message to all the teams is to keep giving in their best while maintaining the spirit of good sportsmanship.”
