- By JOHN CHETTY

THE Ravuka Sharks team from Nadroga is engaging youths to compete in the 3rd Fiji Bitter Tabadamu 7s tournament at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori today.

The team, led by manager Iliesa Ben Ramode, is working hard to engage the youths in the village of Yadua, Cuvu in Nadroga, using rugby as a tool to bring the community together.

“The players had a great experience in the Fiji Bitter Series, gaining a lot of knowledge of the game,” said Ramode.

Despite facing tough competition in their pool, which includes defending champs EMS Tabadamu and other strong teams, the Ravuka Sharks are determined to give their best performance on the field.

“It won’t be a walk in the park for us as our pool is conceded as the pool of death, the boys are ready to battle.

“The team has been putting in a lot of effort in training, including running uphill and gym sessions to ensure they are well prepared for the tournament.

“We are focused on taking each game at a time and giving our all to secure wins in the pool matches.”

With the support of their fans and supporters from Nadroga, the Ravuka Sharks are confident in their abilities to make it to the final and come out victorious.
