Fiji time and sacrifices

-

AJAY SINGH Natabua, Lautoka not have any effect on us, but the world running slower does point to the world eventually adopting Fiji time.

Too good! having a partner.

The Creator’s original plan was for mankind to multiply, fill the Earth and be its steward for eternity.

But the fallen angel Lucifer used a serpent to tempt Eve and Eve tempted Adam to sin and disobey the Creator’s command, not to eat of the fruit from the forbidden tree.

God has clearly revealed that they will die if they disobeyed or sinned.

As a consequence, mankind was cast out of the Garden of Eden and away from the Tree of Life.

An innocent animal known and named by Adam was killed and God made tunics from its skin to cover their nakedness.

They were also taught about the sacrificial offering, the death of an innocent animal in their place when seeking forgiveness of sin from God.

When Jesus the Messiah or Christ came to John the Baptist over 2000 years ago, John, filled by the Spirit of God, stopped his preaching and pointed to the crowd to see Jesus exclaiming: Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

The Creator had a Plan of Salvation before the creation of our world and God the Son was willing to be our redeeming sacrifice should mankind choose to sin. (John 3:16)

As Christ hung on the cross on that Good or Crucifixion Friday, a sinless being dying for sinful humanity, all Heaven just watched in silent amazement at the cost paid for our salvation! The Creator dying to redeem the created!

I love the song: When He was on the cross, I was on His mind.

It is my prayer that we will all respond positively and enjoy a new walk in life with our loving resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. SAVENACA VAKALIWALIWA Tacirua
