Mo­ge­net does not pro­duce series in the or­di­na­ry sense; ra­ther her work consists of sets of va­ria­tions on a par­ti­cu­lar pro­ce­dure. She has pro­du­ced about thir­ty such en­sembles since her 2009 gra­dua­tion from the École Na­tio­nale Su­pé­rieure des Beauxarts in Paris where she stu­died with sculptor Richard Dea­con. These sets of va­ria­tions are al­ways open-en­ded, with no fixed num­ber of consti­tuents. A set is ex­pan­ded when Mo­ge­net goes back to the source image, tech­nique or pro­to­col that gives it its uni­ty. Sets can al­so be sub­trac-
