While the Théâtre du Châtelet is closed for renovations, the famous theatre is taking its productions to the Grand Palais, one of the city’s most iconic exhibition halls, which also welcomes fashion house Chanel for their seasonal fashion shows. From the 28th of November through to the 11th of January, the Grand Palais will be transformed into an extraordinary stage, welcoming the cast of Singin’ in the Rain, the musical based on the cult movie of the same name. Directed by Robert Carsen, the production is performed in English with French surtitles, and brilliantly brings the wellknown story of movie-making in the 20s to the glass monument. Du 28 novembre au 11 janvier, le Grand Palais se transforme en une scène de spectacle extraordinaire et accueille la troupe de la comédie musicale Singin’ in the Rain, tirée du film culte du même nom. Mis en scène par Robert Carsen, le spectacle est joué en anglais, avec des surtitres français.
