CHÂTEAU ROYAL D'AMBOISE

Château Royal d’amboise is one of the emblematic sites of the Loire Valley. Located on a rocky spur, this royal residence and its gardens open onto a unique panorama of landscapes classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site. A centrepiece of French history, this is also a living castle, which is innovative and open to nature. The programme for 2018 brings back the spirit of large royal celebrations hosted by Francis I. Enjoy grand masquerade balls and musical get-togethers, which invite you on a journey through time.

New on the agenda is an escape game so you can dive into the mysteries of power and a new café where you can take a royal sunbath. And coming up in 2019 is the marking of the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death (1519-2019).
