THE SYMBOLISTS PROPRIÉTÉ CAILLEBOTTE

The Caillebotte property is hosting an exhibition entitled La Porte des Rêves, Un regard symboliste meaning the door to dreams, a Symbolist regard, and the show effectively takes a look at the dreamy world as depicted by the Symbolists through some 160 works in myriad mediums ranging from paintings to sculptures, pastels, drawings, lithographs and enamels. The works on display emanate for the most part from a private French collection. Showing through to July 29th La propriété Caillebotte accueille une exposition intitulée « La Porte des rêves, un regard symboliste ». Elle met en lumière le monde onirique dépeint par le mouvement symboliste au travers d’environ 160 oeuvres réalisées sur différents supports allant de la peinture à la sculpture, en passant par le pastel, le dessin, la lithographie et les émaux.
