Bercy village
A Flowery Stroll Balade poétique
Listed in the French Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments, Bercy Village is housed in the former Parisian wineries and warehouses where, for more than 200 years, wine came from all over France via the Seine. Here, the cobblestones tell 6,000 years of history.
In this rustic setting, Bercy Village is a unique place for shopping, leisure and culture. Throughout the year, Bercy Village comes alive with activities and concerts for both young and old.
A true haven for relaxing, shopping and fine living, Bercy Village has a wide range of restaurants and terraces in the shade of tulip trees, with something to satisfy all food lovers.
Until 11 October, Bercy Village invites you to take a flowery stroll. Come and discover the new installation created by Les Naturistes, a studio that works with plants. Audray Roy-camille, a licensed landscaper, plant designer and graduate from Beaux-arts du Mans and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage de Versailles, has created a "retropical" universe of plants, combining exoticism, colour and material. Her unusual yet beautiful installation made up of 2,600 flowers, 1,200 leaves and 136 metres of garlands provides visitors with a flowery oasis and “joyful jungle”, where colour and happiness collide.
Surrounded by a 14-hectare park, Bercy Village can be accessed from the French National Library via the Simone de Beauvoir footbridge. Located in the east of Paris, this small village, with its streets lined with restaurants, shops and leisure facilities, encloses a peaceful oasis where nature and culture invite you to unwind.
