Exhibitions, film screenings, performances and concerts are about to take over Marseille. Among the many events this summer: an exhibition of a new work by Guillaume Leblon especially commissioned by the Fondation d'entreprise Ricard. Based on materials taken directly from the city of Marseille, he will re-make a fragmented landscape which will take the form of a metal floor on which visitors will be able to walk about. Through this operation of flattening and assembly, what is involved is transforming memory into a physical, acoustic and practicable space.
