The fifties have been a fashion staple since the 80’s. The new look of the liberated woman, with her outlandish shoulder-pads, was sometimes complemented by bad-boy bomber jackets or ladylike coats. A daring syncretism that also had hints of punk, reinvented by Miuccia Prada for our times, with big puffers and leather trench-coats in saturated colors, all-over acid-wash denim and bold tartan. The result: pop and luxurious.
