THE ‘ANIMAL-FRIENDLY’ MANIFESTO

Stella McCartney invited animals onto the runway this season… in the shape of giant plushie mascots, or on jellyfish-print dresses and accessories, like this golden monkey buckle. Without any leather, fur or feathers, McCartney’s fashion keeps working on vegan leather, and each garment is traceable, made from regenerated materials. And so, women warm up in the coziness of a faux-shearling coat or high-collared cape. They walk around with mock-croc bags on their arms. Elegantly relaxed: coats, tops, fluid dresses and overalls are delicately knotted, kimono-style.
