Une robe transparente imprimé jungle, décolleté sous le nombril retenu par une broche. En 2000, aux Grammy Awards, habillée en Versace, Jennifer Lopez crée un tel tsunami sur Internet qu’elle inspire aux ingénieurs de la Silicon Valley la création de Google Images. Dixneuf ans plus tard, en final fatal, J-Lo réapparaît à Milan dans sa robe amazonienne encore plus échancrée, encore plus verdoyante. Une apparition précédée par tous les fondamentaux Versace, avec des déclinaisons noires, jambes courtes et épaules larges. L’imprimé jungle donc, accompagné d’or, de fuchsia, de vinyle et de motifs psychédéliques. Esprit années 90, lignes moulantes et décolletés vertigineux : on retrouve l’héritage flamboyant de Gianni.

Nineteen years later, J-Lo reappears in Milan for a fatal finale, in a new version of her Amazon-print dress that is even greener and even more slit up. An apparition that followed a show filled with all the Versace fundamentals, black silhouettes, with short hemlines and wide shoulders. The jungle print is flanked by gold, fuchsia, vinyl, and psychedelic motifs. The 90’s spirit, all about tight bodies and crazy décolletage: Gianni’s flamboyant heritage lives on.
