On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry, pulpy/acidulous redcurrant and small notes of cherry associated with touches of racy minerality as well as discreet hints of toasted, tonka bean and a hint of vanilla. The palate is beautifully fresh, full of finesse (despite power), beautifully mineral, racy and offers gourmandize, fat, a good definition, deepness, energy, power, dynamism, a pulpy/generous side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, violet, bright raspberry and small notes of small red berries associated with touches of juicy cassis, violet, a racy minerality, zan, sweet spices, tobacco as well as a subtle hint of caramelization. Good length. Tannins are well-built, racy and very discreetly firm.
