It reveals notes of lychee, quenette and small notes of pear associated with fine touches of lemon, a fine touch of watermelon, apple blossoms, pine sap as well as fine hints of lemon, ripe almond, toasted and a subtle hint of sage (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a small tension, a fine freshness as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / pulpy pear, crushed apple and small notes of lychee associated with small touches of exotic fruits, lemon, zest, hints of watermelon, apple blossoms, toasted as well as an impercepti­ble hint of almost liquorice and pine sap. Good length. Presence of a discreet sensation of sweetness on the finish / persistenc­e.

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentrat­ion, a discreetly tight grain, elegance, a certain intensity as well as a small richness. It reveals notes of fresh / juicy apple, fresh lychee and small notes of quenette associated with small touches of sage, pine sap as well as hints of citrus and an impercepti­ble hint of pepper. Presence of very discreet hints of toasted almonds (in the background, bring roundness and complexity). The palate is mineral, fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, aromatic purity, roundness, fat, a fine grain, precision, a beautiful juiciness, freshness as well as gourmandiz­e. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / crushed apple, lychee and small notes of crushed quenette associated with touches of sweet pink grapefruit, mesocarp, fine touches of sage / garrigue as well as hints of fresh pine sap and very discreet toasted hints (in the background). Domaine Montcalmès 2018

(Organic) The nose is elegant, well-built, precise, aromatic and beautifull­y fresh. There are notes of quince, mirabelle plum and small notes of quite ripe yellow peach associated with small touches of ripe citrus fruits (kumquat ...), an oxidative hint as well as very discreet hints of honey, almond and a very discreet hint of dry local grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, beautifull­y racy and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a beautiful gourmandiz­e, a good definition, roundness (in finesse), a nice tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / acidulous quince, kumquat and small notes of yellow peach associated with small touches of yellow fruits, pear, discreet hints of sweet spices, a subtle hint of nutmeg, fresh hazelnut as well as a very discreet hint of fresh grove / oak leaf and bitter almond. Good length. A beautiful persistenc­e with a good work on the bitters which come to boost / give « peps » on the finish. Score : 17.25/20 (94-95/100)

The nose is precise, well-structured and offers a slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of apple, lychee and small notes of citrus associated with small touches of quince, racy minerality, hints of verbena, fresh loca grove as well as a very discreet hint of fresh bay leaf. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well framed and offers an acidulous / zesty frame, precision, minerality, structure, freshness as well as good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy / pulpy lemon, zest and small notes of acidulous / juicy green apple associated with touches of crushed mirabelle plum, quince, hints of berries laurel, fresh sage as well as fine hints of racy minerality and verbena. Good length. There is a subtle almost aniseed hint in the background. Lemony persistenc­e.
