The nose is powerful and offers a freshness as well as intensity / concentrat­ion. It reveals notes of blackberry, strawberry and fine notes of gray pepper associated with touches of ripe black cherry / raspberry and toasted touches oak and an impercepti­ble hint of violet (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a nice suavity, delicacy, a nice freshness, a fine minerality as well as a small acid frame (in the background). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, strawberry, black cherry and a touch of cassis associated with touches of licorice / zan, grilled wood, tonka bean and an impercepti­ble hint of violet. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length. There is an impercepti­ble hint of saline minerality and licorice / zan on the finish / persistenc­e.
