The nose is aromatic, fine, spicy, slightly powerful and offers intensity. It reveals notes of gray pepper,plum and slight touches of blackberry associated with hints of red cherry as well as a subtle hint of ripe redcurrant. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful minerality, a beautiful juiciness, gourmandis­e as well as a slight minerality. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of plum, fleshy/ripe cherry and small touches of toasted oak, spices as well as a subtle hint of chocolate/ cacao, Bourbon vanilla and a hint of oak. Good length and very beautiful persistenc­e. There is a subtle hint of Cuben pepper on the persistenc­e.
