The nose is fine, aromatic and offers a small finesse, a mineral purity as well as delicacy. It reveals fine notes of crystallized orange, crystallized mandarin and dried apple combined with fine notes of rosewood, pepper, spices as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and licorice. The palate is aromatic, juicy, luminous, elegant, finely gourmande and offers a nice definition, purity and a fine fat. On the palate, this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of candied orange, peach in syrup and a very discreet hint of sweet strawberry combined with touches of caramelization, rocky minerality as well as a fine / discreet hint of gray pepper. Good length. Beautiful persistence with touches of crème brulée, a fine woody hint as well as on a subtle touch of mint.
