Trail’s End Bourbon Batch N°2

The nose is aromatic, well-structured and slightly powerful. It reveals fine notes of caramelization, woody notes and peat associated with slight touches of herbs, subtle touches of candied fruits, sweet spices as well as a hint of tonka bean and a subtle hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, aerial, straight, tight, slightly powerful and offers a beautiful roundness, fat, a certain deepness, a beautiful grain as well as finesse. In the mouth this Bourbon expresses fine notes of Zante currant, caramel, toasted oak and peat associated with touches of candied pear, subtle hint of quenette as well as a very discreet hint of candied lemon and spices. Good length.
