Crater lake - Rye Whiskey Reserve

The nose is fine, concentrated and elegant. It reveals slight notes of caramelization, Cuben pepper and violet associated with a touch a peat as well as subtle hints of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, aerial and offers a slight mineral frame, a beautiful guideline, straightness as well as a beautiful definition. In the mouth this Whiskey expresses notes of caramelization, wood, Williams pear and violet associated with subtle touches of Sherry as well as hints of peat, spices, touches of pepper and a very discreet grilled hint. Good length. The persistence is relatively gourmande.
