Heritage Distilling Company Elk Rider – Rye Whiskey

The nose is powerful and straight. It reveals fine notes of pepper, flowers and black rice associated with fine touches of spices, vanilla and subtle / discreet hints of honey (in the background). The palate is fruity, nicely balanced and offers power, roundness, racy and a good definition. On the palate, this Whiskey expresses notes of Zante currants, candied orange zest and a touch of mandarin zest combined with fine notes of caramel, toasted oak and fine grilled touches, coffee and vanilla. Good length.
