March­esiVine­yard - Eri­dano 2014

Columbia Val­ley The nose is pow­er­ful, struc­tured and of­fers con­cen­tra­tion. It re­veals slight notes of cas­sis and ripe red fruits (wild straw­berry, red­cur­rant) as­so­ci­ated with touches of gray pep­per, spices and woody touches. The palate is fruity, min­eral, well-bal­anced and of­fers suavity, gour­man­dise, round­ness, fresh­ness as well as a nice def­i­ni­tion. In the mouth this wine ex­presses slight notes of ripe black­berry and cas­sis as­so­ci­ated with slight touches of black cherry, dis­creet hints of ripe straw­berry as well as sub­tle woody hints, choco­late and grilled. Tan­nins are fine and well-built. Good length. There is a slight hint of choco­late, carameliza­tion and an im­per­cpetible hint of hazel­nut on the per­sis­tence.

Columbia Val­ley The nose is fruity, well-bal­anced, well-built and of­fers a slight power (in the back­ground) as well as a slight con­cen­tra­tion. It re­veals notes of crème de cas­sis and black­berry as­so­ci­ated with slight touches of very ripe rasp­berry, red­cur­rant sweet as well as a slight woody hint, Sichuan pep­per and choco­late. The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced, suave, silky, nicely built and of­fers ten­sion, gour­man­dise, a slight aerial as­pect, a beau­ti­ful round­ness/vol­ume as well as a nice struc­ture. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of ripe rasp­berry as­so­ci­ated with slight touches of ca­cao, woody touches as well as sub­tle hints of al­mond, sub­tle toasted hints, choco­late and woody hints. Good length. A beau­ti­ful wine !

Co­lu­mia Val­ley The nose is fruity, well-bal­anced, slightly pow­er­ful and of­fers a fine com­plex­ity. It re­veals notes of black berries as­so­ci­ated with slight notes of olive tree, black­berry, straw­berry, black cherry as well as slight/dis­creet touches of spices (in the back­ground) and a very dis­creet hint of to­bacco. The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced and of­fers min­er­al­ity, a beau­ti­ful suavity, a fine acid frame, ele­gance, gour­man­dise, har­mony, pre­ci­sion, a cer­tain del­i­cacy, a slight juici­ness, a nice def­i­ni­tion, a beau­ti­ful vol­ume as well as a dis­creet unc­tu­os­ity. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of black cherry, plum, black­berry and touches of choco­late as­so­ci­ated with slight touches of caramelized oak, an im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of cof­fee, woody hints as well as a sub­tle hint of car­damom and black pep­per on the fin­ish. Tan­nins are fine and very slightly firm.

Eola Amity Hills - Wil­lamette Val­ley The nose is min­eral, fresh and well-built. It re­veals notes of fresh lemon and lemon zests as­so­ci­ated with slight/dis­creet hints of fresh green ap­ple as well as sub­tle notes of fresh ex­otic fruitss. The palate is fruity, round,fat and of­fers suavity as well as a beau­ti­ful acid frame. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of fresh/ripe Wil­liams pear and touches of ex­otic fruitss as­so­ci­ated with slight hints of fresh lemon, notes of flint as well as slight/dis­creet hints of spices (in the back­ground). Good per­sis­tence.

The nose is fruity and of­fers a sub­tle hint of gour­man­dise. It re­veals notes of fresh Mirabelle and clemen­tine as­so­ci­ated with a hint of nut­meg. The palate is fruity, juicy, fine, well-bal­anced and of­fers a beau­ti­ful acid frame, juici­ness as well as a slight deep­ness. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of juicy/ripe lemon and yel­low fruits/Mirabelle as­so­ci­ated with dis­creet hints of ex­otic fruitss, or­ange jam as well as very dis­creet notes of oak on the af­ter­taste. Good length and per­sis­tence.

Wil­lamette Val­ley The nose is fruity, slightly tight and of­fers a slight con­cen­tra­tion. It re­veals notes of green ap­ple, fresh zests and slight/dis­creet notes of quince as­so­ci­ated with a sub­tle hint of spices as well as a sub­tle/im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of pep­per (in the back­ground). The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced and of­fers a slight suavity, a beau­ti­ful min­eral frame, round­ness, a slight juici­ness as well as acid­ity (from zests). In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of lemon zests and slight touches of ripe/fresh Wil­liams pear as­so­ci­ated with a sub­tle hint of spices and but­ter/vanilla (in the back­ground) on the per­sis­tence/af­ter­taste. Good length.

Eola Amity Hills – Wil­lamette Val­ley The nose is aro­matic, well-bal­anced, racy and of­fers a slight power. It re­veals notes of oak/vanilla, ripe brugnon and ripe/crushed ap­ple as­so­ci­ated with hints of grilled bread and but­ter. The palate is fruity, min­eral, fine, well-bal­anced, racy (beau­ti­ful ter­roir ex­pres­sion) and of­fers a beau­ti­ful min­eral frame, a beau­ti­ful round­ness as well as a slight fat. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of ripe/fresh ap­ple and fresh white peach as­so­ci­ated with small notes of lemon, clemen­tine, quince as well as dis­creet woody touches, vanilla, grilled bread and a sub­tle hint of lemon zests/ clemen­tine on the per­sis­tence. Good length.

It re­veals slight notes of lemon zests, crushed brugnon / vine peach and hints of ap­ple as­so­ci­ated with a sub­tle hint of fresh green melon, quince, a sub­tle hint of spices, but­ter, salin min­er­al­ity as well as a slight hint of pep­per (in the back­ground) and an im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of straw. The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced, sup­ple and of­fers a slight acid frame, a beau­ti­ful suavity, fat (from stir­ring) as well as a beau­ti­ful fi­nesse. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of melon, crushed brugnon and beau­ti­ful notes of ripe ap­ple as­so­ci­ated with sub­tle hints of vanilled oak and but­ter. Good length.

Bryn Mawr – Rosé of Pinot Noir 2016

Wil­lamette Val­ley The nose is fresh and of­fers a slight con­cen­tra­tion. It re­veals notes of Ta­gada straw­berry, red­cur­rant acid drop and hints of spices as­so­ci­ated with sub­tle hints fresh Granny ap­ple as well as a dis­creet/im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of vi­o­let (in the back­ground). The palate is fruity, fresh and of­fers a slight gour­man­dise, a slight fat, ten­sion, con­cen­tra­tion, a nice vol­ume as well as a beau­ti­ful fresh­ness. In the mouth this wine ex­presses notes of straw­berry acid drop, crushed/fresh rasp­berry and touches of ripe/fresh red cherry as­so­ci­ated with a dis­creet hint of cas­sis, vi­o­let and a sub­tle/ im­per­cep­ti­ble woody hint. Good length.
