According to TMZ, sources close to the impending American Idol deal reveal Katy Perry is set to make $US25 million for being a judge on the hit talent show. It has become increasingly common for talent shows to fork out huge amounts of money to secure some of the industry’s biggest names. Jennifer Lopez had signed on to the 13th season of American Idol in 2013 for $US17.5 million.
