Hats off!
A hat said to have belonged to Napoleon Bonaparte and been dropped on the battlefield at Waterloo was purchased for over 350,000 euros at an auction in Lyon. Although it is difficult to establish the provenance of historical artifacts like this one, the auctioneer who organized the sale said that the history of this hat had been well-documented and that it is one of the 120 two-cornered military hats that Napoleon wore during his rule.
