Les échos
Britain has returned eight ancient artefacts that were stolen from the archaeological site of Tello, in southern Iraq, in 2003. The objects, some of them up to 5,000 years old, include a white ceremonial weapon and three fired-clay cones featuring Sumerian script, and were identified by archaeologists at the British Museum. They will now be displayed in the National Museum of Iraq in Baghdad.
