Des vacances au coeur de la légende de l’Eiger

Depuis le temps qu’on parcourt les domaines skiables des Alpes, on est ravi de revenir dans l’Oberland bernois ennobli par les magnifiques montagnes suisses. C’est assez étonnant de constater que nombre de skieurs expérimentés, habitant dans les principales villes du pays (Zurich, Genève, Bâle) n’ont jamais eu l’idée de passer des vacances ici. Un lieu pourtant rendu célèbre par les montagnes de l’Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau et la légendaire descente du Lauberhorn !

Si vous en faites partie, un bon conseil, commencez à planifier votre voyage parce que pour tout passionné de tourisme en montagne, cet endroit est immanquable.

Grindelwald et Wengen sont les deux points de chute principaux.

D’un côté Grindelwald, urbaine et vivante. De l’autre Wengen, intime et montagnarde. A vous de choisir ou bien de répartir votre séjour entre les deux. (A notre avis c’est le plus intéressant à faire).

Holidays at the heart of the Eiger Legend

Considering how long we’ve been exploring ski areas in the Alps, we are delighted to return to the Bernese Highlands which are embellished by the magnificent Swiss mountains. It’s pretty amazing to see that many experienced skiers living in the country’s main cities (Zurich, Geneva, Basel) have never thought of spending their holidays here. It is nevertheless a region famous for its mountains, such as the Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and the legendary Lauberhorn downhill run!

If you’re one of those people, here’s a good tip : start planning your trip because this spot is a must-visit for any enthusiast of mountain tourism.

Grindelwald and Wengen are the two principal places to stay.

On one side, we have Grindelwald which is urban and lively. On the other, there’s Wengen, which is cosy and alpine. It’s up to you, or you can divide your stay between both. (In our opinion, this is the most appealing option).
