Hôtel Aspen (Grindelwald)
Un montagnarde Il directement se hôtel trouve comme sur et à quelques design. les on pistes, les kilomètres aime, mais la alliant route du qui chaleur village, vous y amène est parfaitement dégagée et en prime un service de navette est disponible.
Les chambres offrent toutes une vue imprenable sur les montagnes environnantes. Elles sont décorées avec goût et matériaux nobles (pierre, cuir et bois).
On dispose en plus d’un très bel espace bien-être, avec une zone nudiste. Ce qui est habituel dans la culture germanique, mais peut surprendre les non initiés !
A noter le grand jacuzzi extérieur jouissant d’une vue splendide... On adore.

This is just the sort of hotel we like, combining alpine cosiness and design.
The hotel is located a few kilometres from the village, right on the slopes, but the road leading you there is completely clear and, as a bonus, a shuttle service is available.
All the rooms provide a clear view over the surrounding mountains.
They are decorated with taste and high-quality materials (stone, leather and wood).
In addition, there is a really lovely well-being area with a nudist zone.
This is standard in German culture but might come as a surprise to the uninitiated!
Note that the large outdoor Jacuzzi enjoys a splendid view… We love it.

Hôtel Schönegg (Wengen)
Joli établissement à vocation familiale, à la décoration intérieure traditionnelle, simple, sans surcharges. Comme c’est souvent le cas en Suisse allemande, deux lits single accolés font office de lit deux places. Certes, ce n’est pas le rêve pour un voyage de noces ! L’hôtel est géré avec le sourire par Caroline Ogi... fille du charismatique ex conseiller fédéral Adolf Ogi.
Le restaurant 1903 est aussi de qualité. (cf. Où manger).
This pretty hotel is family-orientated and has simple traditional interior design with no excesses. As is often the case in German-speaking Switzerland, two single beds beside each other serve as a double bed. For sure, this isn’t exactly ideal for a honeymoon !
The hotel is managed with a smile by Caroline Ogi… daughter of the charismatic ex-federal councillor Adolf Ogi.

Hôtel Wengeralp (Wengen)
La découverte d’un vrai petit bijou.
Il est véritablement fait pour les amoureux de montagne et de quiétude.
C’est en quittant la Kleine Sheidegge en direction de Wengen, sur la piste qui longe le chemin de fer que vous le trouverez, loin du village et à 1900m. Ce lieu date de 1865. Il est hors du temps et fait face aux parois Nord de l’Eiger.
Les parties communes et les chambres ont conservé l’atmosphère d’antan. C’est quasi féerique. Même si vous n’y logez pas, allez y faire un tour. Cela vaut le coup d’oeil. Le restaurant aussi est excellent. (cf. Où manger).
Here, we’ve discovered a real little gem. The hotel is truly perfect for people who love the mountains and tranquillity.
As you leave Kleine Scheidegg for Wengen, you’ll come to the hotel on the track running alongside the railway line, far from the village and at 1,900m. altitude. The hotel dates from 1865. It is timeless and is opposite the Eiger’s north face.
The communal areas and rooms have retained an atmosphere of yesteryear. It’s almost otherworldly. Even if you’re not staying there, go and check it out anyway. It’s worth a lookaround. The restaurant is excellent too. (cf. Where to eat).
