Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 2 offers domestic travellers world-class experience

- By David kwakutse

Domestic passengers using Terminal 2 of the Kotoka International Airport to fly to Kumasi, Sunyani, Tamale, Wa, and Takoradi, can relax and experience the tranquility of the newly-renovated Adinkra Lounge before departure.

The Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 2 for domestic passengers, is wellcurated and offers travellers the same experience as the Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 3 which serves international passengers. The Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 2 has comfortable seating, quiet areas, secluded spaces, and amenities such as Wi-Fi, and charging ports, enabling passengers to catch up on work, make important calls, or simply enjoy uninterrupted personal time.

The dishes served takes into consideration the taste and preferences of the Ghanaian domestic traveller. Indigenous foods like rice with a variety of local sauces, Waakye, and banku and okro amongst others are served on different days within the week. Assorted drinks also are available to refresh Lounge users before their flights.

Mark Kemis, the Managing Director of Aviance, operators of Adinkra Lounge, tells AviationGhana that the idea behind the refurbishment of the Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 2 is to give domestic passengers the

same good experience users of the Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 3 regularly have. Travellers can access the facility either by working through their preferred domestic airline, PassionAir or Africa World Airlines (AWA), or they can walk in and enjoy the best the Lounge has to offer for just GHC 150 per person.

“So there are two ways you can do this [access the lounge]. You can book through African World Airlines or PassionAir, which are great partnerships for us. You can also walk in and book directly to use the Adinkra Lounge at Terminal 2 as well. This gives our customers the flexibility to come and go from the lounge.” Mr. Kemis said.
