Ambassadors in Concert

> Athens > March 26 Following its successful debut last year, the second edition of the Ambassadors in Concert charity event will take place at the Onassis Cultural Center in Athens on Thursday, March 26. The ambassadors of Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan, Canada, Luxembourg, Britain, Mexico, Hungary and Slovakia, and their spouses, are contributing or participating in the event by performing works by Vivaldi, Schubert, Rossini and Hadjidakis. Accompanying them on stage will be Greek opera singers Sofia Kyanidou, Irini Karagianni, Christina Poulitsi and Nikos Xanthoulis, among others. Composer Dimitris Arapis will also present a new work. Proceeds from the event will benefit the educational programs of SOS Children’s Villages across Greece. Tickets range from 10 to 45 euros. The 45-euro admission includes a buffet-reception at the Cinq Etoiles roof garden in the Odeon StarCity complex.
