The Herakleido­n Museum Annex in central Athens presents “The Amazing Inventions of the Ancient Greeks,” an exhibition showcasing items from the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology founded by Kostas Kotsanas in Katakolo, in the Peloponnes­e. Going on display are functional models of some of the most extraordin­ary ancient Greek inventions, including Philo’s “robot-servant” and Aeneas’ hydraulic telegraph. The show runs through January 10, 2016. Opening hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Fridays to Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
