Con­stanti­nos Mark­oulakis will be di­rect­ing Yas­mina Reza’s “God of Car­nage” at the Athi­non Theater in cen­tral Athens this fall. The play fol­lows two sets of par­ents who meet to dis­cuss an in­ci­dent at school in­volv­ing their chil­dren. While the dis­cus­sion starts in a civ­i­lized man­ner, it be­gins to spi­ral out of con­trol as the evening pro­gresses. The cast in­cludes Mark­oulakis, Odysseas Pa­paspiliopou­los, Ste­fa­nia Gouli­oti and Loukia Michalopoulou. The pro­duc­tion opens on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 7.
