Stathis Livathinos directs Sophocles’ “Antigone” at the ancient theater of Epidaurus on Saturday, July 16. A co-production with the Greek National Theater, the State Theater of Northern Greece and the Cyprus Theater Organizati­on, the play is part of the Greek Festival’s events this year. The cast is led by Betty Arvaniti and Dimitris Lignadis. The show starts at 9 p.m. Admission ranges from 8 to 40 euros. Tickets for Greek Festival events can be purchased online as well as at the festival’s box offices (39 Panepistim­iou St, inside the arcade, open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the Herod Atticus Theater on Dionysiou Aeropagito­u St (open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. daily).
