Leading member arrested

Police said yesterday that they had arrested a leading member of the anarchist group Rouvikonas (Rubicon), who is alleged to have participated in an attack on the Turkish Embassy in Athens on Tuesday. The suspect was not identified. Police questioned 11 people following the attack on the embassy, during which assailants splashed red and black paint across the building’s entrance and threw flyers protesting a crackdown in Turkey following a failed coup in the neighboring country.
