Best-sell­ing Nor­we­gian crime writer Jo Nesbo is com­ing to Athens on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 17, to speak at the Onas­sis Cul­tural Cen­ter on the 20th an­niver­sary of the re­lease of his first novel, “The Bat.” Be­sides his in­ter­est­ing ca­reer, the for­mer soc­cer player and stock­bro­ker – who is also in a rock band – will talk about his lat­est novel, “The Thirst,” as well as Michael Fass­ben­der’s film ver­sion of his 2007 novel “The Snowman.” The event starts at 7 p.m. and ad­mis­sion is free of charge. The dis­cus­sion, which is or­ga­nized in co­op­er­a­tion with the Nor­we­gian Em­bassy, will be mostly in English with si­mul­ta­ne­ous trans­la­tion into Greek.
