The National Bank of Greece Cultural Foundation (MIET) is currently hosting “The End of our Old City, Thessaloniki 1870-1917,” a photography exhibition organized in collaboration with the British Embassy in Greece and showing how the northern port looked before the huge fire that razed the downtown area. The exhibition, which runs through Sunday, February 18, features images from the MIET collections, as well as photographs on loan from public and private archives and collections.
