Transparency first
When the state decides to spend the Greek taxpayer’s money on an advertising campaign, it must do so with full transparency and clearcut rules. There have been several cases in the past when governments went to extremes and used public money as a political tool. It is advisable not to create suspicions that this situation is continuing. Full transparency and the establishment of clear-cut rules is the only way forward in similar decisions.
