Grand Walk.
OMunicipal crews yesterday made the final adjustments to the lower side of Syntagma Square in central Athens, creating two lanes for pedestrians, as part of the Grand Walk project. Work started on Saturday afternoon and has created more than 1,000 square meters of space for pedestrians, Deputy Mayor Vasilis Axiotis told Skai yesterday. The intervention stretches from the intersection with Karagiorgi Servias Street to that with Mitropoleos, and includes new greenery and benches.
