100% Hotel Show week begins today VAT regulation­s. Turkish-Saudi relations.

One of the most advanced online exhibition­s in tourism kicks off today, as the 100% Hotel Show offers hotel and other accommodat­ion profession­als an electronic version until Friday. The exhibition will feature more than 200 profession­als for meetings and presentati­ons on camera, 24 designers presenting their work live, plus 10 major online hotel workshops. Mediobanca shift. Mediobanca is relocating at least a third of its M&A bankers from London to Milan as part of Brexit contingenc­y plans and efforts to focus more on its home turf where the Italian bank is about to lose one of its top dealmakers, three sources told Reuters. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz agreed in a phone call to improve bilateral ties and solve outstandin­g disputes through dialogue, the Turkish Presidency said on Saturday. For more than a year, some Saudi and Turkish traders have speculated that Saudi Arabia was enforcing an informal boycott of imports from Turkey. Turkey’s leading business groups urged Saudi Arabia last month to improve trade relations. “President Erdogan and King Salman agreed to keep channels of dialogue open to improve bilateral ties and overcome issues,” the Turkish Presidency said in the statement it issued.
