Procurement Officer
Enesel Group, presently managing a modern fleet of very large, eco-design container vessels and Ultramax and Capesize Bulk carriers has an opening for a full-time Technical Superintendent.
We are currently experiencing a period of sustainable expansion and development and are looking to strengthen our team by recruiting passionate, talented, enthusiastic and highly committed professionals.
Successful applicant is expected to have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position and good command of English language.
To collect, evaluate and process all supply requisitions raised from Masters.
To obtain quotation for required supplies and evaluate orders.
To arrange and monitor status of stores/spares orders in the most cost-effective way.
To organise bulk purchases of specific equipment common to more than one of the managed vessels.
To obtain approval from involved departments as required. To assist for collection, transportation, and airport clearance of various parts sent from the vessel.
To follow up order until case is closed, ordered items are delivered on board and payment of invoices are settled. To liaise with suppliers and ensuring for the Company the highest standard of material / service possible at minimum cost.
To negotiate prices in the most cost effective way.
To maintain statistics as per enterprise reporting needs. To prepare annual budget and provide comments on quarterly OPEX results.
Accountable for achieving the objectives and measurable targets set for the department.
