Eusi’s peace appeal
VETERAN politician Mr Eusi Kwayana, who is on a symbolic fast against hostilities in the Gulf and “electoral and constitutional bondage” here, Thursday took his campaign briefly to the Cenotaph in the heart of the city. In a noon message delivered at the memorial to the dead of the two World Wars, Kwayana appealed to the combatants in the Gulf war to “resort to diplomacy, save lives and allow social life to reproduce itself.” He also says “reconciliation based on electoral justice” is, the key to the well-being of Guyanese.
